Oh oh, lost the first comment. Did not occur to me to copy it. So, let me see if i recall the post...oh...yes...it began with:

A Happy Canada Day to you too Janet!

I sensed the North Lands would ensorcel you and cause you to be a willing hostage in its potent fascinating magic. It is a good place in the world for you with its endless mircles of life, beauty and spaciousness.

I wonder if the saxifrage and lupines are the original natural versions of our much larger, domesticated floral plants that grace our gardens here in the city? Our saxifrage has the same form yet the plant has 18" long leaves and though the blossoms are the exact hue deep pink they are huge. The lupine spikes easily reach 2 to 3' here but they are exact replicas of those dimunitive precious beauties in your photos. Such exquisite flora and fauna. Thank you for sharing them with us.

At least we can enjoy a vicarious journey through your writings and photos Janet. Your book is already written plete with photos!

Excellent job of it Janet. You are a wonderful writer and photographer with a keen appreciative artist's perception.
Thank you!
